Day Dream 04:56
Day Dream why do you haunt me so Deep in a rosy glow the face of my love you show Day Dream I walk along on air building a castle there For me and my love to share. Don't know the time Lordy, I'm in a daze Sun in the sky, while I moon around feeling hazy Day Dream don't break my reverie until I find that He is day dreaming just like me. Don't know the time Lordy, I'm in a daze Sun in the sky, while I moon around feeling hazy Day Dream don't break my reverie until I find that He is day dreaming just like me.

The moon belongs to everyone The best things in life are free The stars belong to everyone They gleam there for you and for me The flowers in spring, the robins that sing The moonbeams that shine They're yours, they're mine And love can come to everyone The best things in life are free
3.
There's a small hotel With a wishing well I wish that we were there together There's a (no) bridal suite One room bright and neat Complete for us to share together Looking through the window You can see a distant steeple Not a sign of people – who wants people? When the steeple bell says, "Good night, sleep well, " We'll thank the small hotel together
4.
I'll be tired of you when stars are tired of gleaming When I am tired of dreaming, then I'll be tired of you. This I know is true, when winds are tired of blowing, When grass is tired of growing, then I'll be tired of you. Beyond the years, 'Til day is night, 'til wrong is right, 'Til birds refuse to sing, Beyond the years, the echo of my only love Will still be whispering, whispering. And if my throbbing heart should ever start repeating That it is tired of beating, then I'll be tired of you.

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood Perhaps I had a miserable youth But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past There must have been a moment of truth For here you are Standing there Loving me Whether or not you should So somewhere in my youth or childhood I must have done something good For here you are Standing there Loving me Whether or not you should So somewhere in my youth or childhood I must have done something good Nothing comes from nothing Nothing ever could So somewhere in my youth or childhood I must have done something good

Eye's shine bright Anticipating a romantic night The mood's intoxicating Time to go And then who knows? Dear Stephanie... He is late And maybe you were wrong It's not a date This isn't like a song You feel a fool Was he that cruel? Oh Stephanie don't wait. You hoped to rhapsodise A sweet duet Now go and dry your eyes Leave him and forget The night is young The world is yours to take So have some fun The city's wide awake Dear Stephanie Go and be free There's more to see.... Tonight!

Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry When I take you out in the surrey, When I take you out in the surrey with the fringe on top! Watch that fringe and see how it flutters When I drive them high steppin' strutters. Nosey pokes'll peek thru' their shutters and their eyes will pop! The wheels are yeller, the upholstery's brown, The dashboard's genuine leather, With isinglass curtains y' can roll right down, In case there's a change in the weather. Two bright sidelight's winkin' and blinkin', Ain't no finer rig I'm a-thinkin' You can keep your rig if you're thinkin' 'at I'd keep to swap Fer that shiny, little surrey with the fringe on the top! Don't you wishty'd go on forever? Don't you wishty'd go on forever? Don't you wishty'd go on forever and you'd never stop In that shiny, little surrey with the fringe on the top!

Whether you are here or yonder Whether you are false or true Whether you remain or wander I'm growing fonder of you Even though your friends forsake you Even though you don't succeed Wouldn't I be glad to take you Give you the break you need More than you know, more than you know Man of my heart I love you so Lately I find you're on my mind More than you know Whether you're right, whether you're wrong Man of my heart I'll string along You need me so More than you'll ever know Loving you the way that I do There's nothing I can do about it Loving may be all you can give But honey I can't live without it Oh, how I'd cry, oh, how I'd sigh If you got tired and said "Goodbye" More than I'd show More than you'd ever know

I Hear Music 02:35
I hear music, mighty fine music The murmur of a morning breeze up there The rattle of the milkman on the stair Sure that's music, mighty fine music The singing of a sparrow in the sky The perking of the coffee right nearby That's my favorite melody You, my angel, phoning me I hear music, mighty fine music And anytime I think my world is wrong I get me out of bed and sing this song That's my favorite melody You, my angel, phoning me I hear music, mighty fine music And anytime I think my world is wrong I get me out of bed and sing this song

If a custom tailored vet Asks me out for something wet When the vet begins to pet, I cry, "Hooray" But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way I've been asked to have a meal By a big tycoon in steel If the meal includes a deal, accept I may But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way There's an oil man known as Tex Who is keen to give me checks And his checks, I fear, means that Tex is here to stay But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way From Ohio, Mr. Thorn Calls me up from night till morn Mr. Thorn once cornered corn and that ain't hay But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way From Milwaukee, Mr. Fritz Often dines me at the Ritz Mr. Fritz invented Schlitz and Schlitz must pay But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way Mr. Harris Plutocrat Wants to give my cheek a pat If the Harris pat means a Paris hat, okay But I'm always true to you, darlin', in my fashion Yes, I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way I'm always true to you, darlin', in my way

The thrill is gone The thrill is gone I can see it in your eyes, I can hear it in your sighs Feel your touch and realize The thrill is gone. The night is cold, For love is old, Love was grand when it was brand-new, Birds were singin' and all them skies were blue, Now it doesn't appeal to you.. The thrill is gone. This is the end, So why pretend And let it linger on? The thrill is gone.

You wander around on your own little cloud When you don't see the why or the wherefore You walk out on me when we both disagree 'Cause to reason is not what you care for I've heard it all a million times before Take off your coat, my love, and close the door Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', don't stand in the pouring rain Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', the night is long Forget your foolish pride, nothing's wrong Now you're beside me again You try to be smart, then you take it to heart 'Cause it hurts when your ego is deflated You don't realize that it's all compromise And the problems are so overrated Goodbye means nothing when it's all for show So why pretend you've somewhere else to go Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', don't stand in the pouring rain Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', the night is long Forget your foolish pride, nothing's wrong Now you're beside me again Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', don't stand in the pouring rain Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', the night is long Forget your foolish pride, nothing's wrong Now you're beside me again Don't sleep in the subway, darlin', don't stand in the pouring rain Don't sleep
